An Excel workbook (XLSX) for short-term-rental hosts, B&Bs and guesthouses. At the end of each month you type nights booked and available, stays, revenue, cleaning, platform and other costs, your average rating and number of reviews, plus a note. Formulas give you occupancy, ADR (average per booked night), revenue per available night, net result and margin, per-stay figures and the change versus the previous month. A Goals sheet holds next month's targets for occupancy, revenue and rating and shows Reached, Close or Below goal once the month is entered, and a Summary sheet gives the 12 months on one page. A BLANK and a DEMO workbook with fictional data come in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.

How you use it

1. Download and unzip, open the folder of your language and open the BLANK workbook in desktop Excel. Save a working copy under your own name.
2. On the Setup sheet, set the year, your number of rentable units and your currency symbol.
3. At the end of each month, type that month's figures in the cream cells of the Months sheet. Grey cells are formulas and are locked.
4. Pick the month on the Review sheet to compare it with the previous month and with its goals.
5. On the Goals sheet, set next month's targets and one action. Open the DEMO workbook any time to see a filled example.
