1 / 9A one-time digital download for holiday rental, B&B and guesthouse hosts: ten fill-in guide pages where you write your own local tips for guests. Eat & drink, groceries & shops, getting around, nature & walks, with children & families, rainy-day ideas, nightlife & evenings, practical services such as pharmacy, cash machine and parking, your personal top 5, and a map & notes page. Every page has three prompts, a fictional example row and empty rows to fill in. Included as printable PDF (A4 and US Letter) and as editable TXT, in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.
The problem it solves
Guests keep asking where to eat, where to buy groceries, how to get around and what to do on a rainy day. The answers live in your head or in scattered messages, and they are rewritten for every booking.
Who it is for
Holiday-rental hosts, B&B and guesthouse owners, co-hosts and small property managers who want to share their local knowledge in an organised, personal way.
What you get
- Ten fill-in pages that cover what guests ask most, from restaurants and shops to transport, walks, family ideas and practical services
- Three prompts and a fictional example row on every page, so you always know what to write
- A My top 5 page and a Map & notes page for your personal favourites and a hand-drawn or pasted map
- Printable PDF in A4 and US Letter plus an editable TXT, in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German, one folder each
How you use it
- Download and unzip your purchase, then open the folder for your language.
- Print the pages you need at actual size (A4 or US Letter). You do not have to use all ten.
- Read the three prompts on each page and write your own favourite places in the empty rows: why, how to get there, what is good to know.
- Put the pages in your welcome folder, or type your tips in the TXT and copy them into your guest guide or messages.
Questions
Does it contain real local recommendations?
No. It is a template you fill in with your own knowledge. The places in the examples are fictional, so nothing has to be removed or corrected.
Can I type into the PDF?
No, the PDFs are made for printing and writing by hand. For typing, use the TXT file, which has the same prompts and blank entries.
Which paper sizes and languages are included?
A4 and US Letter, in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. Each language has its own folder and start guide.
How is it different from the guest guide builders?
Those tools generate a complete guest guide. This template helps you collect and organise your own local tips, which you can then add to any guide, message or welcome folder.
What is included
- Local-Area-Recommendations-[language]-A4.pdf (11 pages) in each language folder
- Local-Area-Recommendations-[language]-US-Letter.pdf (11 pages) in each language folder
- Local-Area-Recommendations-[language].txt (same prompts, editable) in each language folder
- START-HERE.txt in each language folder
- A top-level START-HERE.txt
Requirements
A printer for A4 or US Letter paper and any PDF reader. Any text editor to use the TXT file.

Good to know
- A writing template, not a directory: it contains no real recommendations. All places in the examples are fictional.
- Not legal, medical or safety advice. You must check addresses, hours and prices, and tell guests that details can change.
- If you have a business relationship with, or receive a commission from, a place you recommend, say so as your local rules require.
- The PDFs are for printing and writing by hand, not editable or fillable on screen. Use the TXT file to type.
- No app, no online sync, no Canva or Word file. Separate from the MAXORI online software and from the guest guide builders.
- For your own properties; reselling or redistributing the files is not allowed.
This is a downloadable digital product, not online software. It does not need an account and is not part of the MAXORI Software subscriptions.
