How you use it
- Download and extract the ZIP, open your language folder and the DEMO workbook to see how it works.
- Open the BLANK workbook, save a working copy and fill Setup: business name, currency label, prices with or without VAT, first month and your VAT rates.
- In Products, add one row per product with cost, VAT rate, selling price, opening stock, reorder level and usual order quantity.
- Type the units sold per product each month in Monthly Sales, and add received or written-off units in Products.
- Read the Dashboard for margin, stock value, top sellers, slow movers and the reorder list, and fix anything shown in Input check.
Questions
Is this a till or a stock app?
No. It is a downloadable Excel workbook that you fill in by hand. It does not connect to a till, booking software or an online shop.
Does it work with prices that include VAT?
Yes. In Setup you choose whether you type prices with or without VAT and enter your own VAT rates. The Products sheet shows the price both with and without VAT, and the margin is calculated on the price without VAT.
What is the difference between DEMO and BLANK?
The DEMO workbook holds a fictional salon with 22 products and a year of sales so you can see every sheet working. The BLANK workbook is the same file, empty and ready for your own products.
How is it different from Price & Margin Studio or Salon Profit & Performance Tracker?
This one is only about the products you sell in the salon: cost, price, margin, stock and reorders. Price & Margin Studio prices products made from materials, and the Salon Profit & Performance Tracker follows salon revenue, expenses and profit.

Requirements
Desktop Microsoft Excel (not included). The formulas were recalculated in desktop Excel with 0 errors. Google Sheets, Excel for Mac and phone apps were not tested.

Good to know
- Capacity: 150 products and a 12-month sales log; do not enter beyond it.
- Sales and margin use the selling price and cost currently entered for all 12 months, not historical prices.
- Stock value uses the unit cost you enter, not FIFO or average cost. One currency label, no exchange rates.
- Manual entry only: no connection to a till, booking system, shop or barcode scanner.
- VAT rates are values you enter yourself. It is a record-keeping tool, not tax, legal or accounting advice.
- Yellow cells are inputs; grey-green cells are formulas and sheets are protected without a password.
- Translations were not reviewed by native speakers. For your own business use, no resale or redistribution.
This is a downloadable digital product, not online software. It does not need an account and is not part of the MAXORI Software subscriptions.
