1 / 9An Excel (XLSX) budget planner for a person or household: record income and expenses, set category budgets for each month, track savings goals and compare Snowball and Avalanche debt repayment estimates. One download contains five complete editions (English, Italian, Spanish, French and German), each with a blank workbook, a demo workbook with fictional data and a PDF guide in that language.
The problem it solves
Money notes end up scattered across receipts, apps and memory, so it is hard to see what was planned, what was spent and what is left for savings or debt.
Who it is for
People, couples and families who want to plan their monthly budget, follow savings goals and see debt repayment scenarios in a desktop Excel workbook, in their own language.
What you get
- Record each income and expense once: up to 500 income entries, 500 expense entries and 500 savings allocations, with 10 income and 20 expense categories
- Set category budgets for each month (they can differ month to month) and see budget used and remaining on a selected-month dashboard
- Track up to 10 savings goals; savings allocations reserve money and are not counted again as expenses, with optional 52-week, weekly or monthly savings targets
- Compare Snowball and Avalanche repayment estimates for up to 5 debts, with an extra monthly payment you choose
- Monthly and annual summaries with charts, plus an indicative 50/30/20 comparison
- Five full language editions in one purchase, each with BLANK and DEMO workbooks and a PDF guide
How you use it
- Download and unzip the file, then open the folder of the language you want.
- Read the PDF guide and explore the DEMO workbook to see how the sheets work.
- Keep BLANK unchanged as a master and make your own working copy; set the year, opening balance and category budgets.
- Add your income, expenses, savings allocations and debts, and review the Dashboard and summaries.
- Save in Excel and keep regular dated XLSX backup copies.
Questions
Do I get all five languages?
Yes. One download contains the English, Italian, Spanish, French and German editions. Each edition is fully in its own language.
Will it work on Mac, tablet, Google Sheets or LibreOffice?
It requires desktop Microsoft Excel and was tested on Windows desktop Excel only. Other platforms and apps have not been verified, so they are not promised.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank import or synchronization. You enter your income and expenses yourself.
What is the difference between BLANK and DEMO?
DEMO contains fictional examples so you can see how the sheets work. BLANK is the clean workbook; keep it as a master and work in your own copy.
Is the debt plan financial advice?
No. Snowball and Avalanche results are estimates from the figures and fixed assumptions you enter.
What is included
- One ZIP with five folders: EN, IT, ES, FR and DE
- In each folder: a BLANK XLSX workbook (your clean master), a DEMO XLSX workbook (fictional examples), a PDF guide (3 pages) and a READ-ME-FIRST text file, all in that language
- 20 files in total; every edition is fully in its own language
Requirements
Desktop Microsoft Excel (not included). Offline XLSX files without macros. Opening, editing, saving and reopening were tested on a demo copy in installed Windows desktop Excel; Mac, mobile, Google Sheets, LibreOffice and older Excel versions have not been verified and are not promised.
